Tin-lead lining are superior to anitomonial lead in corrosion resistance. This type of lining saves space compared to a brick lining but is generally not recommended for high temperature above 60 degree Celsius.

Other coated material use special insulating materials from vinyl type to withstand the action of chromium plating solution but this coating material quickly dissolve in nitrocellulose and most organic resin. These insulator are used in sheet, rod, tube, and other form.
